DVR monitor configuration

Example configuration of DVR with two monitors. In this example CRT monitor has better video quality than LCD due to lack of further processing of video signals especially for direct observation.

But it comes to a price - big energy consumption and large size. If this should be done with LCD without compromising the quality, it is necessary to use a DVI input monitor and DVI output recorder to achieve higher resolution. Otherwise there is no need to install cameras and boards with greater resolution, respectively, at higher prices. The only difference will be when you playback security videos. The quality of the picture will be better, no matter that you observe your CCTV cameras with lower resolution.
